OSAKA, JAPAN – He’s back on top, and hotter than ever! #66 Mohammed Burbayea from Kuwait delivered yet another masterclass performance to capture the PRO RUNABOUT GP crown at the Osaka Grand Prix 2025, the fiery season opener of the WGP#1 Waterjet World Series, held from May 15–18 at Nishikinohama Beach.
With over 200 elite riders from 21 countries across 5 continents, the tournament ignited the new season with heart-pounding action and Burbayea, the 3-time World Series Champion (2019, 2021, 2024), made sure to leave his mark.
Known as the fastest and most powerful sit-down category in the sport, The Titans of PRO RUNABOUT GP featured 13 of the world’s top riders, including four horsemans :

The opening moto ignited a fierce duel between the Kuwaiti powerhouses. #38 Mohammad Albaz had the edge off the line, seizing the holeshot and leading from start to finish with clinical precision. #66 Mohammed Burbayea, unable to close the gap, settled for second.
But the Final Moto was a different story.
This time, it was #66 Mohammed Burbayea’s turn to strike back. Despite a slower start, he mounted a relentless charge, strategically reeling in Albaz before overtaking him with a daring move. Holding his lead under pressure, Burbayea powered across the finish line in first.
