#64 Jasmiin Ypraus, A Queen of Mechelinki - Poland

The season has started for the tournament "WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023", Round 1, between 18-21 May 2023, at Mechelinkie City, Poland. In PRO Ski Women GRAND PRIX, #64 Jasmin Ypraus proclaimed herself as the "Queen of Mechelinki".

This year's first scoring track, the PRO Ski Women GRAND PRIX, has many “Iron Girls” participating in competitions from all over the world. There are #98 Emma Nellie Ortendahl, a Swedish rider, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2022. #64 Jasmiin Ypraus, a rider from Estonia, former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” and “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2021. Also competing for the title are a rising star from France, #96 Estelle Poret and #23 River Varner from the USA.

At the start of Moto 1, #23 River Varner surged into the lead, followed by #96 Estelle Poret, #64 Jasmiin Ypraus and #98 Emma Nellie Ortendahl. Halfway through the race, #64 Yasmiin Yaprus did a great job, showing her performance, sprinting her way to become the leader and came to the finish line as the first to win.  Followed by, 2nd place #23 River Varner and 3rd place #98 Emma Nellie Ortendahl.

Next in Moto 2, #96 Estelle Poret started out better until the finish line. But she was deducted her points due to missing a buoy. This made #64 Jasmiin Ypraus who failed to start off well in the beginning shine by showing her great performance to win in Moto 2, followed by #23 River Varner and a racer from Norway #107 Benedicte Drange.

In Final Moto, #23 River Varner took the lead from start to finish, winning the final moto. She was followed by #64 Jasmiin Ypraus who beat the other racers to finish in 2nd place despite her slow take-off while #96 Estelle Poret took 3rd place.

Judging from the overall score, #64 Jasmiin Ypraus won the “WGP #1 Waterjet World Series 2023” Round 1 Mechelinki - Poland with a total score of 166, beating  #23 River Varner  with 161 points and #96 Estelle Pore who ranked 3rd place, respectively.
