The Marvelous Return of #90 Kevin Reiterer

#90 Kevin Reiterer roared as the "Champion of Vichy'' in the world's fastest and strongest stand-up watercraft, PRO SKI GRAND PRIX, in the "WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023", Round 2, between 27-30 July 2023, at Vichy, France.

The second round of this season, in PRO SKI GRAND PRIX, welcomed many champions and top riders to participate in the competition, especially up to 22 people from 11 countries around the world. The grand list included #44 Raphael Maurin, a French rider, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2022 and former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2018, #72 Jeremy Poret, a French rider, former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2019 and 3-time former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2019, 2017 and 2016, Belgian rider, #98 Quinten Bossche, former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” in 2022 and 2020 and Former two-time Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” in 2021 and 2020, #36 Nacho Armillas of Spain, the rider from Switzerland, #25 Alec Enderli, and last but not least “Superman” #90 Kevin Reiterer from Austria, a former 3-time Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2021, 2015 and 2008, who did not participate in the 1st Round - Poland due to his mission as the coach of the Thai National Jet Ski Team in the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.


In Moto 1, #72 Jeremy Poret and #44 Raphael Maurin, two riders from the host country were in the lead from the start. But Jeremy Poret, winner of Round 1 - Poland, managed to maintain his good form and speeded up to reach the finish line in 1st place. #90 Kevin Reiterer pushed to snatched the 2nd place and #44 Raphael Maurin in 3rd, respectively.

In Moto 2, #44 Raphael Maurin took the lead after the start. But halfway through the race, it was #90 Kevin Reiterer who raced in full speed to lead the pack, leaving no chance for the others to get him before winning the second moto. The 2nd and 3rd place went to #98 Quinten Bossche, the top rider from Belgium, and #44 Raphael Maurin, respectively.

In Moto 3, #98 Quinten Bossche came back with a great performance. He took the lead from the start and left behind many other competitors until reaching the finish line in 1st place. Also 2nd and 3rd places went to #90 Kevin Reiterer and #72 Jeremy Poret, respectively.

Back In the Final Moto, it was a battle between #98 Quinten Bossche and #90 Kevin Reiterer. But #90 Kevin Reiterer snatched up the lead and won in this Moto, followed by #98 Quinten Bossche in 2nd and a Danish rider, #66 Oliver-Koch Hansen in 3rd.

But the overall score of the 4 moto sent #90 Kevin Reiterer to the podium as a winner of the “WGP #1 Waterjet World Series 2023” Round 2 Vichy - France, in the PRO SKI GRAND PRI with 226 points. #98 Quinten Bossche and #72 Jeremy Poret took the podium in the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
