A great start to the new season, #111 Simon Belcher, the latest “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” Champion, snatched the victory in the Waterjet World Championship Tournament, “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2024" Opening Round, from July 24 to 28 2024 at Ostrow Warcki - Poland. This year, we are packed with over 200 riders from 30 countries participating, including from Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania.

In PRO SPORT GP, the latest World Champion #111 Simon Belcher had to defend his title against newcomers #77 Ou Moeut Saly from Cambodia, #45 Suphathat Footrakul from Thailand, and also #143 Kyle Horton, a rising star from the UK.

In Moto 1, #77 Ou Moeut Saly made a big surprise by taking the lead from start to finish, collecting the first 60 points. That win left #111 Simon Belcher in 2nd and #41 Lennon Parkin from the UK in 3rd.

It wasn’t a less exciting game in Moto 2 when #111 Simon Belcher was led from the beginning of the race by #77 Ou Moeut Saly. But #111 Simon Belcher never gave up and fought back with all he got, coming back to take the lead in the last buoy, making everyone so surprised to finish first.

In the Final Moto, it’s a battle between #111 Simon Belcher and #77 Ou Moeut Saly. After the holeshot, #111 Simon Belcher had a more aggressive start, leading from the beginning and crossing the finish line in first place.

With overall scores, #111 Simon Belcher made 173 points, winning the “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2024”- Poland Grand Prix in PRO SPORT GP. #41 Lennon Parkin from The UK and #77 Ou Moeut Saly took the pole in 2nd and 3rd place.
