The race has been concluded for the Jet Ski World Championship "WGP One Waterjet World Series 2024", Round 2, between 7-13 October 2024 at Lake Havasu City, United States. Two Southeast Asian racers #77 Ou Moeut Saly from Cambodia and #45 Suphathat Footrakul from Thailand performed outstandingly and won the championship in the United States.

In the PRO SPORT GP class, reigning World Champion #111 Simon Belcher from the UK defended his title against newcomers #77 Ou Moeut Saly, #45 Suphathat Footrakul, and #143 Kyle Horton, a rising star from the UK.

Once a champion, always a champion. #111 Simon Belcher led the race from start to finish, collecting the first 60 points in Moto 1 ahead of #77 Ou Moeut Saly and #41 Lennon Parkin from the UK who came in 3rd, while #45 Suphathat Footrakul, a Thai rider, finished 4th.

Moto 2 was an exciting ride as #77 Ou Moeut Saly took the lead from the holeshot, leaving #111 Simon Belcher, the reigning World Series Champion, down to 2nd place. Without fault, #77 Ou Moeut Saly took the victory in Moto 2 with #111 Simon Belcher following in 2nd.

The Final Moto was a battle between #111 Simon Belcher and #77 Ou Moeut Saly. The result was that #143 Kylie Horton became the dark horse and crossed the finish line in 1st place. #111 Simon Belcher and #77 Ou Moeut Saly both got off to a bad start, but #77 Ou Moeut Saly overtook him and crossed the finish line in 2nd place, with #41 Lennon Parkin in 3rd place.

Collective scores for all motos: #77 Ou Moeut Saly has 166 points, winning the “WGP1 Waterjet World Series 2024” Havasu Grand Prix in the PRO SPORT GP class. #111 Simon Belcher and #41 Lennon Parkin took the podium in 2nd and 3rd place.

PRO-AM RUNABOUT 1100 OPEN was the class for an all-out clash of champions. #26 Louie Buhisan from the Philippines, the latest World Series Champion (2023), #45 Suphathat Footrakul from Thailand, former World Series Champion in 2022, #176 Valentina Lezcano, a local rider from Miami, former World Series Champion in 2021, clashed with the rising Thai star #142 Kasidit Teeraprateep, with #77 Ou Moeut Saly from Cambodia as an interloper.

In Moto 1, #45 Suphathat Footrakul showed his strong form. Despite getting off on a slow start, he was in 3rd place but overtook #142 Kasidit Thiraprateep and #26 Louie Buhisan to cross the finish line in 1st place, followed by #26 Louie Buhisan and #77 Ou Moeut Saly.

#45 Suphathat Footrakul's form is still hot, worthy of the title of former world champion. Even though he was at a disadvantage to #142 Kasidit Thiraprateep who took the holeshot, #45 Suphathat Footrakul still rode confidently breathing down his opponent’s neck, until he squeezed into the lead in the final lap, crossing the finish line in 1st place in Moto 2. #142 Kasidit Thiraprateep and #26 Louie Buhizan followed in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Final Moto #45 Suphathat Footrakul kept the heat going, leading from start to finish, crossing the finish line in 1st place. #142 Kasidit Thiraprateep followed in 2nd place and #77 Ou Moeut Saly was in 3rd place.

Collective scores for all motos: #45 Suphathat Footrakul had a perfect game, winning every moto, collecting the full 180 points, and taking his righteous place on the podium in 1st place, winning the "WGP1 Waterjet World Series 2024" Havasu Grand Prix in the PRO-AM RUNABOUT 1100 OPEN category, followed by #142 Kasidit Thiraprateep and #77 Ou Moeut Saly.
