24-27 July 2025 at Eau d'Heure, Belgium

Demi Morgan and Jonna Borgstrom have cemented their status as champions, each claiming victory in the professional classes of PRO FREESTYLE and PRO-AM WOMEN SKI GRAND PRIX, respectively, at the "Belgium Grand Prix 2025."

The WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2025, Thailand's premier professional sports tournament, drew over 250 top riders from 36 countries and five continents to Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure in Wallonia, Belgium, from July 24-27, 2025. The event was made possible with the generous support of the Thamanat Prompow Foundation, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the National Sports Development Fund, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Amazing Thailand), Freedom Racing, Jettribe Racing Red, Just Race Timing System, Ride House, Kawasaki, Domaine Des Lacs Des Lacs de l'eau d'Heure, and OR2.

PRO FREESTYLE: A Flawless Performance from Demi Morgan
In the PRO FREESTYLE class, Demi Morgan (#13), the sole female rider from the United States, delivered a beautiful and exhilarating performance on the water. She executed a perfect game, earning maximum points in every moto to be crowned champion of the "Belgium Grand Prix 2025."

PRO-AM WOMEN SKI GRAND PRIX: Jonna Borgstrom's Triumphant Return
The PRO-AM WOMEN SKI GRAND PRIX featured a strong field of elite female riders, including current World Series champion Sophie Francis (#88) and River Varner (#23) from the USA, Japan's Mami Kaneko (#27) and Saito Hitomi (#77), as well as Jonna Borgstrom (#25) from Sweden and Sirii Salonen (#141) from Finland.

In the first moto, Jonna Borgstrom, who was making her return to racing after a two-year hiatus to recover from a shoulder injury, started strong by taking the holeshot. However, in the final lap, she had a stroke of bad luck and fell, allowing River Varner to seize the lead and the moto victory. Borgstrom finished in a disappointing second place.

Determined to redeem herself in the second moto, Borgstrom once again took the holeshot and never looked back, leading from start to finish to claim a dominant victory with Mami Kaneko in second place.

The final moto was a true test of grit for Borgstrom. Although Mami Kaneko took the initial lead from the holeshot, Borgstrom fought back in the final lap to make a spectacular pass, taking the lead and the win. With 173 total points, the resilient Jonna Borgstrom stood on the podium as the champion of the "Belgium Grand Prix 2025."
