#38 Mohammed Albaaz, A Champion of Mechelinki - Poland


#38 Mohammed Albaaz continues to perform so well after winning the title "WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup 2022" in Thailand last December. And in the tournament"WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2023", Round 1 between 18-21 May 2023, at Mechelinkie City, Poland, he managed his way to grab the first trophy of the year, proving himself to be “Champion of Poland”.

The most interesting class for the watersports fans are PRO Runabout GRAND PRIX, the world's fastest and strongest watercraft. This year's opening season welcomed more than 30 riders from 15 countries to participate in the race, including #1 Jeremy Perez, French rider, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series” 2022, #66 Muhammed Burbayea, a Kuwaiti rider, the two-time Champion 2021 and 2019 “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series”, #38 Mohammed Albaaz, also a Kuwaiti rider, the Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2022, #7 Marcus Jorgensen, a Danish rider, Former Champion of “WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup” 2021 and 2019. And also a French rider #4 François Medori.



#66 Muhammed Burbayea took the lead from the start, followed by a compatriot #38 Mohammed Albaaz. But after finishing the first lap, #66 Muhammed Burbayea’s boat had problems, allowing #38 Mohammed Albaaz to take the leading position with confidence and win in the 1st Moto. Two French riders #4 François Medori and #1 Jeremy Perez took 2nd and 3rd places.

#38 Mohammed Albaaz continued his brutal performance in Moto 2, driving confidently to take the lead in one roll, and won this moto. The 2nd place went to #1 Jeremy Perez, while #86 Jun Ikoma of Japan took 3rd place.

In Final Moto, #66 Muhammed Burbayea returned to reclaim the championship crown, followed by his compatriots, #38 Mohammed Albaaz, and #4 François Medori in 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

But with the overall score from every moto, #38 Mohammed Albaaz won the championship “WGP #1 Waterjet World Series 2023”, Round 1, Mechelinkie - Poland while two French riders #1 Jeremy Perez and #4 François Medori finished second and third, respectively.
